Paramodo Pro

End User License Agreement

Effective date: May 28, 2026  ·  Version 2.1

Please read this End User License Agreement ("Agreement" or "EULA") carefully before installing or using the Paramodo Pro SketchUp extension (the "Software"). By installing, copying, activating, or otherwise using the Software, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.

This EULA governs exclusively the local software component of Paramodo Pro — the SketchUp extension installed on your computer, including its Ruby scripting engine, JavaScript user interface, and native C++/CUDA GPU-acceleration modules. Your use of Paramodo's cloud-based features is separately governed by our Terms of Service.

1. Definitions

"Licensor" means the developer and owner of Paramodo Pro, a company incorporated in British Columbia, Canada. "You" or "User" means the individual or legal entity that installs or uses the Software. "License Key" means the cryptographic token issued by our licensing provider (LemonSqueezy) that activates paid features of the Software. "Starter (Free) Tier" means the no-cost, feature-limited version of the Software available without a License Key.

2. Grant of License

Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, the Licensor grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software on computers you own or control, strictly for your personal or internal business purposes, under the tier applicable to your account:

3. Distribution Channels

The Software is made available through two authorized channels:

Obtaining the Software from any other source is unauthorized and voids this license.

4. License Validation and LemonSqueezy

Paid and Trial licenses are issued and validated by LemonSqueezy (Lemon Squeezy, LLC), our third-party licensing and payment provider. By activating a paid license, you also agree to LemonSqueezy's terms of service as published at their website. The Licensor is not responsible for outages, errors, or disputes arising from LemonSqueezy's systems. A License Key may be deactivated remotely if it is used in violation of this Agreement.

5. Restrictions

You may not:

6. Third-Party Ecosystem — SketchUp and Trimble

Paramodo Pro is a third-party extension designed to operate within the Trimble SketchUp application. The Licensor is an independent developer and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Trimble Inc. in any way.

SketchUp is a product of Trimble Inc., subject to its own terms and licenses. The Licensor has no control over Trimble's product roadmap, API changes, or Extension Warehouse policies. The Licensor expressly disclaims all liability for:

The Licensor will make commercially reasonable efforts to maintain compatibility with current SketchUp releases but cannot guarantee timely updates following Trimble platform changes.

7. Local Hardware and GPU Processing — Important Notice

Hardware Notice: Paramodo Pro includes native C++ and CUDA modules that execute directly on your local CPU and GPU hardware. Parametric generation tasks may place significant sustained load on your graphics card, RAM, and thermal systems.

You acknowledge and agree that:

8. Data Collection by the Local Software

Upon registration and activation, the Software collects and transmits to the Licensor's cloud backend solely the following technical data:

The Software does not transmit your SketchUp model data, project files, geometry, or any design content to the Licensor's servers. All parametric computation is performed locally on your machine. See our Terms of Service for full details of our data practices.

Diagnostic logging is disabled by default. If you explicitly allow diagnostic logs, the Software may write timestamped local runtime logs under your SketchUp Plugins folder (`ParamodoLogs/`) to help troubleshoot crashes, rebuild issues, and user-interface errors. These local logs remain on your computer unless you choose to send a crash report or share them with support. You may enable or disable diagnostic logging later in Paramodo Settings.

9. Ownership and Intellectual Property

The Software is licensed, not sold. The Licensor retains all intellectual property rights in and to the Software, including all compiled binaries, source code, algorithms, user interface designs, and documentation. This Agreement does not grant you any rights to trademarks, service marks, or trade names of the Licensor. Unsolicited feedback or suggestions you provide regarding the Software may be used by the Licensor without any obligation to you.

10. Updates and Support

The Licensor may provide updates, patches, or new versions of the Software at its sole discretion. Updates may alter, add, or remove features and may be subject to revised terms. Support is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis and is not guaranteed unless expressly stated in a separate support agreement. Starter (Free) Tier users may receive limited or no support at the Licensor's discretion.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE LICENSOR DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, COMPATIBLE WITH ALL HARDWARE OR OPERATING SYSTEM CONFIGURATIONS, OR FREE FROM VULNERABILITIES. STATUTORY RIGHTS THAT CANNOT BE WAIVED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW ARE PRESERVED.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE LICENSOR, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF REVENUE OR PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, HARDWARE DAMAGE OR DEGRADATION, SYSTEM CRASHES, OR COST OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS OR SERVICES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR INSTALLATION OR USE OF THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

THE LICENSOR'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING UNDER OR RELATED TO THIS AGREEMENT SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM; OR (B) ONE HUNDRED CANADIAN DOLLARS (CAD $100).

Some jurisdictions, including certain provinces of Canada, do not permit the exclusion of implied warranties or certain limitations of liability. In such jurisdictions, the above limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by law, and your statutory rights remain unaffected.

13. Termination

This Agreement remains in effect until terminated. Your rights under this Agreement terminate automatically and without notice if you breach any term. The Licensor may also terminate or suspend your license at its discretion upon material breach. Upon termination, you must immediately cease use of the Software and destroy all copies in your possession or control. Sections 5, 6, 7, 9, 11, 12, and 14 survive termination.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia, Canada. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

15. Entire Agreement

This EULA, together with the Terms of Service, constitutes the entire agreement between you and the Licensor with respect to the Software and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous agreements and understandings. If any provision of this Agreement is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect. The Licensor may update this Agreement; continued use of the Software after notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.
